Job title:
Chief BC SoftWear mascot
How long have you been working with BC SoftWear?
I joined the BC SoftWear team in 2016, when I was an eight-week-old puppy.
Tell us a little bit about the job you do for BC SoftWear and what you’re responsible for
As soon as I started with BC SoftWear I was put straight to work within the marketing department. I was used as a model for many photoshoots, promoting embroidered pet towels, as well as modelling children’s robes.
My photos featured on the side of BCSoftWear’s vans, delivering goods all over the UK for many years. It was my 15 minutes of fame.
Next, I took over a very important role in R&D, road testing the robustness of BC SoftWear’s flip flops. It was a job I especially loved and approached with all my usual enthusiasm and energy.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Now I’m almost nine years old and approaching my twilight years, I’m taking things a lot easier. My modelling days are behind me now.
Most afternoons, I help Mum, our CEO Barbara, in her office. I may be growing older but I still feel like I contribute lots of valuable ideas to product development. She’d be lost without me, although I frequently have to have naps in the afternoons.
If you could switch jobs with anyone at the company for a day, who would it be and why?
I’ve recently been promoted to Head of Barketing, and there’s no role I’d rather have. As the newest member of the management team, my responsibilities have grown. I take joining the rest of the senior leadership team in the conference room for management meetings very seriously.
