Jaunita Quadros is Vice President of Spas and Hospitality at COCON Management, which operates of The Montcalm Collection’s spas. Her relationship with BC SoftWear goes back many years; she has experience of using their products across several high-level spa operations.

When COCON Management took over running Montcalm East in June2024, the spa at the hotel was already using BC SoftWear’s towels. “The towels and spa linens were still going strong and looking really nice, even after two years of heavy spa use; that says everything,” says Jaunita.

 “When we began looking into suppliers for the new YĀTRĀ Signature Spa at Montcalm Mayfair, which opened in March 2025, we were looking for a local sustainable brand in line with the hotels’ concept and BC SoftWear just fit our vision. BC Softwear were also recommended to us by the hotel procurement team. We investigated leasing, buying and lots of different options for our towels and spa linens, but from a sustainability point of view and financial perspective it made sense to purchase our linens from BC Softwear.

 “We wanted a British brand with sustainability at its core and a colour palette in light, subtle beiges. BC SoftWear’s products are striking and long-lasting and work beautifully in the YĀTRĀ Signature Spa environment. We didn’t want too much of branding so opted for a subtle bed runner to finish the look. The result is elegant and calming.”

 “BC SoftWear’s not a big corporate; the team is small and Rupert, our salesperson, diligently checked in after the sale was complete, to make sure there were no issues,” says Jaunita. “The order process was incredibly quick too, the minute we paid, the products were delivered the next day.

 “Spa towels are not meant to absorb like bedroom towels; they’re designed not to hold onto oils and must be washed properly. BC SoftWear understands this fully, which takes any stress out of the selection process. Their products are hard-wearing, they last, they don’t absorb oils but they still have that element of luxury softness.”
