The closing months of 2025 saw BC SoftWear continue its international expansion, while also introducing some exciting new clients in the UK
At BC SoftWear, our goal has always been to become the unrivalled provider of exceptional textiles to the world's most prestigious hotels and spas. Last year saw us striving towards that goal and, as we enter a new year, we’re thrilled to announce a series of prestigious new hotel and spa partnerships, which reflect our commitment to quality, innovation and global reach.
With new clients from the Red Sea to Uganda, plus a growing presence in the UK and Ireland, we’ve added some stunning new high-end hotel and spa properties to our client list, both at home and abroad.

In the UK, we’re pleased to welcome the newly refurbished Irene Forte Spa at The Balmoral in Edinburgh, as well as two newly re-opened spas in the north of England – Salus Spa at Aldwark Manor and SubRosa at The Grand in York. The Irene Forte Spa at The Balmoral is the first UK spa to take our new lightweight SilkSoft™ range of spa linens, crafted from a smooth synthetic blend that has a brushed matte top surface and a cool, silky underside feels.
We’re also pleased to welcome new Irish partners including The Davenport Hotel in Dublin, which is set to open its new Bask Thermal Spa later this year. Also joining us are Dromoland Castle in Co. Clare, Donegal Boardwalk in Co. Donegal and The Bathhouse Spa at Bellinter House in Co. Meath.
International successes
The Middle Eastern wellness market is experiencing explosive growth – the UAE's wellness economy grew a remarkable 58 per cent between 2019 and 2023, outpacing most global markets, while Saudi Arabia has become the second-largest wellness market in the Middle East and North Africa. This has led to a raft of new hotels and the refurbishments, with many set to open this year.
We’re excited to be working with The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, which is offering guests our Hamptons Robe and using our spa treatment linen. The brand new Hyatt Miraval Red Sea, scheduled to open in early 2026 on Shura Island in Saudi Arabia, is the first Miraval property outside the United States, and will be offering its guests our SupremeSoft Linen and Pure Linen Deluxe Range.
We have also begun working with the One&Only Reethi Rah, on North Malé Atoll in the Maldives – the first international property to feature the new lightweight SilkSoft™ range– and Kampala Marriott Hotel, a landmark destination in Nsambya, Uganda. We are also proud to be working with the Sani/Ikos Group, supplying the Ikos Oceania in Halkidiki with SupremeSoft spa linens.
“We’re pushing BC SoftWear’s boundaries by expanding the business into some of the world’s stand out new properties in the Middle East and UAE,” says founder and CEO, Barbara Cooke. “We’re already the towels, linens and robes company of choice for many of the world’s most prestigious properties, and we’re thrilled to be adding some of 2026’s most significant new openings to that list. There are some exciting developments coming in the next few months, which will help us to strengthen our presence in the UAE and Middle East, and ensure we provide the five-star customer service our partners have come to expect.”
