Meet Hannah: Marketing Executive – From New Starter to Employee of the Year

16th Sep 2026

In the latest edition of our Meet the Team series, we're catching up with this year's Employee of the Year and all-round marketing superstar, Hannah Levenhagen. Hannah joined BC SoftWear in July 2025 as Marketing Assistant and was promoted to Marketing Executive by April 2026, winning Employee of the Year before she'd even completed her first 12 months with the business.

From managing campaigns and social media to running events and overseeing the day-to-day marketing function, Hannah has quickly become a key part of the team. With creativity, determination and a willingness to take on any challenge, she's helped keep the marketing engine running at full speed.

"Time has flown by!" she says. "Being named this year's Employee of the Year was completely unexpected, but it's great to know I've made a real impact within the business since joining. It still hasn't really sunk in."

A Role That Covers a Bit of Everything

Hannah runs marketing day-to-day, which includes everything from email campaigns, advertisements and BC SoftWear's social channels to the website, events and exhibitions.

"You name it, I do it! For the last several months, I've been running the whole department solo while our Marketing Manager, Farrah, is on maternity leave, so it's been a proper crash course in doing a bit of everything."

When asked what she enjoys most, the answer is simple.

"Honestly, I love the variety. One day I'm building an email flow or working on the next social post; the next, I'm on a content shoot or planning and managing our events calendar. No two days are ever the same."

If She Could Switch Jobs for a Day…

I'd love to join the embroidery team for a day. I actually have a degree in Textile Design, so it'd be lovely to get hands-on with an embroidery machine again. The girls work incredibly hard, and I'd love to spend a day in their shoes. I'd like to think I'd still remember what I'm doing, but there'd only be one way to find out!

Favourite thing to do as a child?

"I was very much a 2000s kid. Between Disney Channel, Bratz dolls, Club Penguin and chatting to my friends on MSN, I was always entertained. It was a simpler time!"

Something people don’t know?

"I'm part of two Guinness World Records. One was for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps at a Pitbull concert, and the other was for Harry Styles' record-breaking Wembley Stadium residency. Definitely not something I expected to be able to say!"

Karaoke favourite?

"Anything 2000s R&B. Give me a bit of Ne-Yo, Usher or Destiny's Child and I'm happy. I also can't resist a good musical number."

What’s your go-to comfort food?

“Italian, always. Give me a proper plate of homemade pasta or pizza over anything else.”
