Policy Objectives and Targets
Carbon Footprint and Reduction:
- Begin comprehensive carbon footprint measurements by 2024.
- Develop a strategic carbon reduction plan to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2030, if not before.
Waste Management and Recycling:
- Uphold and increase the elimination of 80 tonnes+ of single-use plastics annually from the distribution of our products.
- Collaborate with up-cycling companies to transform footwear and textile waste into new products, supporting a circular economy.
Sustainable Sourcing and Supply Chain:
- Maintain and enhance our sustainable procurement policy, ensuring ongoing compliance with environmental standards.
Product Innovation and Efficiency:
- Continue to invest in research and development to create or source fully biodegradable options for a range of products, minimising environmental impact at the end of product life, as well as textiles which have genuine energy savings in the laundry environment.
- Conduct comprehensive Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for all products to identify and mitigate environmental impacts throughout their life cycle, from raw material sourcing to disposal.
Operational Efficiency:
- Further transition our delivery fleet to electric vehicles, and continue the shift towards more sustainable transportation methods.
- Sustain the use of electric forklifts in our warehouse, constantly seeking ways to improve energy efficiency.
Sustainability Education and Engagement:
- Build on our programmes to raise environmental awareness among employees and encourage sustainable practices.
- Strengthen employee participation in our company-wide sustainability efforts.
Community and Industry Leadership:
- Proactively engage in partnerships that support broader sustainability goals.
- Lead by example, sharing our successes and learning within the industry to promote widespread environmental responsibility.
Reporting Method
